Filter Papers

Filter Papers:
At V-Kards Associate, we offer a high-quality range of Filter Papers tailored to meet the needs of various industrial and laboratory applications. Our filter papers are available in two primary types:
-
Qualitative Filter Paper
-
Quantitative Filter Paper
-
Qualitative Filter paper
Our Qualitative Filter Papers are ideal for routine filtration tasks such as substance identification, sample clarification, and general laboratory use. Engineered for reliable separation and analysis, these papers ensure consistent results with high chemical resistance and durability.
Explore our product range:
-
VKAFG001- (Grade 1): The most commonly used filter paper with medium retention and standard flow rate, ideal for routine laboratory work and general filtration.
-
VKAFG002- (Grade 2): Offers higher retention and absorbency than Grade 1. Suitable for applications where longer filtration time is acceptable and more material needs to be captured.
-
VKAFG003- (Grade 3): With double the thickness of Grade 1, this grade offers fine particle retention and superior loading capacity. Perfect for high-volume filtration without clogging.
-
VKAFG004- (Grade 4): Known for its rapid flow rate and excellent retention of coarse particles, this grade is ideal for filtering gelatinous precipitates like ferric and aluminum hydroxide.
-
VKAFG005- (Grade 5): Designed for fine particle retention, this filter is widely used in chemical analysis where high-precision results are required.
-
VKAFG006- (Grade 6): Offers twice the speed of Grade 5 while maintaining similar fine retention. Commonly used in boiler water testing and fast filtration applications.

Quantitative Filter Paper
At V-Kards Associate, our Quantitative Filter Papers are specifically engineered for precise analytical testing, especially in gravimetric and quantitative analysis. These ash less papers are ideal for capturing fine precipitates and are compatible with pressure and vacuum filtration systems, ensuring accuracy in high-stakes environments such as chemical labs, metallurgy, and industrial quality control.
Explore Our Quantitative Filter Paper Grades:
-
VKAFG011- (Grade 11): Designed for coarse and voluminous precipitates, including iron, aluminum, and chromium hydroxides. Frequently used in steel and pig iron analysis, especially for silicon determination.
-
VKAFG040- (Grade 40): A general-purpose ash less filter paper that offers medium retention and filtration speed. Ideal for a wide range of routine quantitative applications.
-
VKAFG041- (Grade 41): The fastest ash less grade in our range, this filter paper is ideal for procedures involving coarse particles and gelatinous precipitates. Preferred where speed and ash-free results are essential.
-
VKAFG042- (Grade 42): A global standard for critical gravimetric analysis, offering the finest particle retention among all filter papers. Best suited for high-precision filtering in sensitive analytical tasks.
-
VKAFG043- (Grade 43): Positioned between VKAFG040 and VKAFG041 in terms of retention, but twice as fast as VKAFG040. Balances flow speed with effective filtration.
-
VKAFG044- (Grade 44): A thin version of VKAFG042, combining very fine particle retention with nearly double the flow rate and lower ash weight. Excellent choice for time-sensitive and ash-critical analyses.
